So we were baking fiends this weekend, and got all the cookies done. Besides the banana muffins, I made cottage cheese lime drops, apricot-hazelnut bars, and butterscotch coconut bars, and Kathy made chocolate peanut butter chips and chocolate gingerbread. My brother's in town for a couple of days and we had him and my mother over this morning. We tried to get them to help decorate, but they only wanted to supervise. Churro was helpful as usual.

Christmas baking more or less accomplished. Late, but at least we got it done, which is better than we've managed for the last two years. SO cards and cookies go in the mail Monday, and will hopefully get to people before New Year's. People are doing the December talking meme again, which I tried doing last January and completely tanked out on halfway through. I shall do my best to gird my literary loins and finish the topics I failed on last time. Probably trying a second round would be tempting fate.
